Types of Crank Blinds
We use a steel top tube and the maxim length we can go is 6 meters wide.
The Crank or gearbox, is decided on the day of the quote as to what side it should be on, either the left or right side of the blind, the Crank is operated by using a Crank Handle (2 colours only. Black / White). And hangs neatly on the gearbox and is out of the way, this is a detachable handle and this allows you to use one handle for many blinds, or put it away.
We insert a heavy bottom bar at the bottom of the Crank Blinds, in order to weigh it down, you then anchor the blind to the desired setting or out to the fence using a staple and belt or dog clip setup, these are all discussed with our clients on the day of the Quotation.
Added extras are Hooding and Posts as well as Motorization.

This blind works by winding the gearbox of the blind system. The blind travels along a pivoted arm system that allows the blind to Pivot out like an awning, you can roll this blind away so as to let the sun or roll downwards, while the extending arms hold the blind out to a 90 deg to 165deg angle. The pivot arms are spring loaded so as to keep tension on the fabric.
We use Dulux powder coat colours for the side channels and special 5 side bottom bar.
Added extras are Hooding and post as well as Motorization.
These are the top of the range of all the crank blind applications, they are awesome. They work on a inner spring tension system and you can simply just slide them up a heavy duty wide side channel and lock them in a set position by turning a dial in the centre of the bottom bar. Also with manual slide pins. Side channels have internal felt guides so as to maintain quiet movement along up and down the channel.

We insert a heavy bottom bar at the bottom of the Crank Blinds, the bottom bar needs to be heavy in order to weigh it down, the blind is guided by side channels and we insert pins into the blind channel in order to hold the blind in place at desired pre drilled stops, then lightly tension the blind up using the crank. We powder coat the channels using the Dulux Powder coat colour range.

We attach a 3.2mm Stainless Steel wire to each side of the blind and has a special bottom bar that is used to guide the blind along the wire, this stops the blind from swinging around on windy days, the Wire Guide system is locked down using heavy duty belts and dog clips.
